Hi Alistair, Saturday was a day of high's and lows. As you know at 5.30am

Saturday morning the band's van, trailer, drum kit and bass amp were stolen,

and only the van was insured! This was a kick in the teeth for us and only

through the help of the villagers of Wendens Ambo and various offers from

others did we manage to play the gig at the Millenium Barn. The gig itself

was fantastic, there were times when it was impossible to see someone not

dancing, we couldn¹t have asked for a more receptive audience and to top it

off the generosity displayed through the collection had us speechless. These

offers of help and the event itself certainly helped to raise our spirits

and drag us from the shadow of the mornings event.

I'd like to thank you and all those who attended for making it such a

memorable night and on behalf of the band would like to express our

gratitude to the visitors and villagers of Wendens Ambo for their

generosity.

I shall also send a letter to the Bell in the hope that the village will

have an opportunity to read this.

PS: I'm hoping that the pictures and video that Volker took turn out well so

that we can get some on the website. I shall chase him up shortly.
